San Diego Padres fan Travis Decker learned the hard way over the weekend that Facebook and baseball don't always mix. At least not live baseball.
He was struck hard by a foul ball in the upper deck of the right field stands at Petco Park while attempting to "check in" to the stadium on his phone.
Decker was too busy trying to update the universe that he was at Petco, he failed to pay attention to the exciting action at Petco. To his own detriment.
That's gotta hurt, but give Travis credit for being a good sport at least:
This is the second most embarrassing video to come out of America's Finest City in the past week, with the first being the epic San Diego fireworks fail.
